All French Program
Works by Alain, Langlais, Tournemire, Franck, Dupré, and Duruflé

One of the most revered American organists in the world today, Susan Ferré has concertized extensively throughout the world. As a student, she spent a large part of her early years in Paris, studying with three of the most important figures of 20th Century French Organ Music: Marcel Dupré, Maurice Duruflé, and Jean Langlais (for whom she served as Assistant.) Today, she is one of the most significant interpreters of this repertory; and we look forward to hearing her perform this music on Ascension’s magnificent French organ.
